Overview

Everyday Life Tools provides calculators, guides, and links to digital resources. This policy explains what information the site may handle and the choices available to you.

Calculator information

Calculator entries are processed in your browser. The site does not require an account, and calculator values are not intentionally submitted to an Everyday Life Tools account or database.

A hosting provider may still process standard technical request data, such as an IP address, browser type, requested page, and request time, to deliver and secure the website.

Cookies, analytics, and advertising

Everyday Life Tools has added Google AdSense code so Google can verify the site and review it for advertising eligibility. If ads are approved and shown, Google and its partners may use technologies such as cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, browser information, or other identifiers to help provide, measure, and improve advertising.

Everyday Life Tools may also use privacy-conscious infrastructure analytics provided by Cloudflare to understand basic website usage and page performance. Cloudflare Web Analytics may collect limited technical and performance information, such as page views and browser performance timing, to help us understand whether the site is working properly.

Cloudflare states that its Web Analytics does not use cookies or localStorage, does not collect or use visitors’ personal data for this feature, and does not track individual users across websites.

If affiliate tracking, additional measurement tools, or additional advertising services are added in the future, this policy will be updated before or when those services are introduced.

First-party site measurement

Everyday Life Tools may use a limited first-party measurement system to understand aggregate traffic, improve site usability, and evaluate whether visitors use approved paths between guides, calculators, and an owned product offer.

The measurement system is limited to the following types of activity on eligible pages:

• eligible-route page loading;
• selection of an approved guide-to-calculator link;
• selection of an approved calculator-to-guide link; and
• selection of an approved product call-to-action.

Measurement records may include the event type; fixed identifiers for the applicable page, route, call-to-action, placement, experiment, or product; a broad traffic-source category; the operating environment; a server-derived UTC date; and limited duplicate-prevention or failure information.

The fixed identifiers and campaign parameters used by this system describe site content, placements, or campaigns. They are not visitor, session, customer, or advertising identifiers.

This measurement does not collect or store:

• information entered into a calculator;
• calculator results;
• income, expense, debt, savings, or other financial values;
• names or email addresses;
• free-text entries;
• cookies or persistent browser-storage identifiers;
• visitor, session, customer, or advertising identifiers;
• browser fingerprints;
• complete referring addresses, search queries, or URL parameters; or
• Internet Protocol addresses or complete browser user-agent strings in Everyday Life Tools measurement records.

Everyday Life Tools uses aggregate counters rather than individual visitor histories. The measurement is not designed to identify individual visitors or track people across websites.

The measurement endpoint is delivered through Cloudflare. As the network and hosting provider, Cloudflare necessarily processes certain network and HTTP information when it handles a request. Everyday Life Tools does not place Internet Protocol addresses or complete browser user-agent strings in its measurement records and does not use Cloudflare request metadata to create visitor profiles. Cloudflare may separately process operational or security information as part of providing its services.

Quality-assurance and staging aggregates are deleted after validation and are not retained for more than 30 days. Authorized Production aggregate records may be retained for up to 400 days. The Everyday Life Tools measurement database does not retain event-level or request-level histories. Cloudflare may separately process operational or security information as described above.

Deleted aggregate records may remain recoverable through Cloudflare D1's platform recovery system for up to seven days before aging out of the verified recovery window.

Everyday Life Tools operates this limited measurement separately from advertising. It does not use the measurement to create individual profiles, support advertising profiles, or enable cross-site tracking.

External services and product links

Some links take you to third-party services, including Gumroad product pages. Those services have their own privacy practices and may collect information when you visit or make a purchase. Review their policies before sharing personal or payment information.

Everyday Life Tools may provide links to products offered through Gumroad. Selecting one of these links takes you to an external service governed by Gumroad's separate terms and privacy practices.

The link may contain fixed, non-personal campaign parameters describing the source page, campaign, or call-to-action. These parameters do not contain a visitor identifier, session identifier, customer identifier, email address, calculator entry, calculator result, financial value, or free-text information.

Gumroad may separately process information when you visit its service, make a purchase, or access a product. Everyday Life Tools has not verified that its campaign parameters persist through purchase, are associated with completed purchases, or are available in Gumroad reporting. Everyday Life Tools therefore does not claim verified purchase attribution from this measurement system.

No advisory relationship

Using this site does not create a financial, legal, tax, or other professional advisory relationship. Calculator results and site content are general educational estimates.
